ROUSSOS are proud to be partnering with Australian property development company Wel.Co to secure a skilled Senior Development Manager to lead and deliver key projects across South Australia, including the newly announced $400M housing and marina development project in Renmark.
THE PROJECT
A “generational” project which will generate jobs, tourism and economic activity in the Riverland region.
Wel.Co, will partner with the Renmark Paringa Council to bring the council’s vision to life, including development of close to 800 new homes and an expanded marina precinct with about 100 moorings, restaurants, cafes, shops and other commercial spaces.
A mix of traditional housing, waterfront homes, townhouses and apartments will be built across the 95ha site, north of Renmark’s town centre near Bookmark Creek.With an already existing small marina, they are looking to expand that and build more commercial uses around it.
“There’ll be integrated housing options in through there, there’ll be restaurants, commercial uses – really activating the marina area and the river. We’re looking to help build more areas that can help to really show off the masterpiece of the Murray in Renmark.”

THE ROLE
This is the perfect role for a Senior Development Manager based in Adelaide, to drive and deliver all key projects in South Australia, as part of Wel.Co’s expanding portfolio of master planned residential and commercial projects across the State.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the development management, design, and construction functions of key strategic residential and commercial development projects
Build and maintain strategic external relationships
Foster relationships with key internal stakeholders
Commercial management
Delivery of design and construction
Feasibility and finance management and quality and programme management
Responsible for the continued growth of the Wel.Co brand, value proposition and market position in South Australia
Work across the full development lifecycle from acquisition through to delivery
Extensive experience in property, development and project management is required, as well as tertiary qualifications in Building, Engineering, Economics or similar will ensure your success in this role. You will be an exceptional communicator, easily building strong relationships at all levels and have a solid network of contacts. You must always be professional, thorough, efficient, and confident. Naturally, you will have great attention to detail and a strong desire and drive to deliver high quality developments. This role will see you showcase your determination and ambition to drive multiple projects through the full project lifecycle.
