ROUSSOS Recruitment are partnering with a leading architecture studio to engage a Senior Architect to join their Adelaide team. Being innovative and creative is encouraged in this supportive working environment with the freedom to deliver new and exciting work to a design focused team. With a diverse portfolio, you'll engage in a range of projects spanning commercial, workplace, hospitality, multi-residential, and education sectors, among others. Collaborating closely with the Directors, you'll play a pivotal role in mentoring, energising, and leading diverse and stimulating projects both locally in South Australia and nationally.
The role
As the newest Senior Architect in this studio, you will become the lead on a range of projects across all phases, project types, and scales from sketch to design to documentation through to completion. We are looking for someone who can see the bigger picture, understanding the strategic and long-term goals of the project, whilst being able to manage multiple project demands. With a strong passion for design and a keen attention to detail, you will bring your strong technical knowledge and possess the ability to integrate this autonomously. Being a Senior Architect, you will have drive and strong leadership skills, to guide a team of Architects and Interior Designers to deliver exceptional outcomes.
The ideal candidate
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience working as a Senior Architect across a broad range of projects. A strong design skillset and the ability to manage projects, teams, clients, and consultants is a must. Revit skills are highly regarded, and an understanding of project management and site experience will help you to excel. As this is a client facing role, you will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. This studio has an outstanding reputation with a long list of repeat clients, so your ability to foster great working relationships with clients and deliver a high quality of service will see you thrive in this role.
