Contract Administrator / Project Coordinator

Job description

Contract Administrator / Project Coordinator – Residential Developments
  • Join a growing developer-builder delivering quality townhouses
  • Gain exposure across both Contract Administration and Project Coordination
  • Work closely with experienced leaders committed to your long-term development
The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator to join a well-established developer-builder with a reputation in the residential sector.

With a growing pipeline of townhouse and medium-density developments, the business is seeking a motivated construction professional who wants to broaden their experience and become involved in all aspects of project delivery. Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will gain exposure to both the commercial and delivery sides of construction while learning from experienced Project Managers and senior leaders.

This is a business that genuinely invests in its people, providing clear career progression opportunities and the chance to take on increasing responsibility as your experience develops.

The Role

This role offers a blend of Contract Administration and Project Coordination responsibilities, making it ideal for someone looking to further develop their understanding of project delivery and construction management.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and contract administration
  • Managing RFIs and coordinating consultant responses
  • Supporting project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
  • Processing progress claims, variations, and project documentation
  • Coordinating meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Assisting with programme tracking and project reporting
  • Supporting project delivery teams to ensure projects remain on time and within budget
  • Maintaining accurate project records and contract documentation
The Like Mind

You may currently be working as a Contract Administrator, Project Coordinator, Site Engineer, or Graduate Construction Professional and be looking for the next step in your career.

To be successful, you will ideally have:
  • 1–4 years of construction industry experience
  • Previous exposure to residential construction projects, ideally townhouses or medium-density developments
  • A qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Property, or a related discipline
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Most importantly, you are someone who enjoys being involved in the detail, takes pride in your work, and is looking to build a long-term career within the residential construction industry.
