A multi award-winning builder that has been operating successfully in South Australia and Victoria for more than 20 years. The team are recognised for their expertise across a range of industry sectors including commercial, residential, education, health, retail, and industrial, with project values from $5M - $300M.
  
Nationally, the business employee 60 highly skilled building professionals, with more than 30 employees here locally. Having just moved into a brand-new office in the Adelaide CBD, their work environment is vibrant and supportive. Most projects that this builder delivers are pre-negotiated directly with their long-term clients. Building strong relationships with their subcontractors is a high priority, so they have established a loyal group of trades who they consider to be a part of their team.
  
The Role
As Contracts Administrator, you will report through to a supportive and approachable General Manager and a Project Manager, who together have a combined total of 45 years in South Australia’s Commercial Construction industry.
  
Your key responsibilities will see you assist in managing all cost and contractual matters including: 
  • Management of cost and procurement risks.
  • Ensuring high quality performance in accordance with systems, client requirements, specifications, and associated documentation.
  • Upholding contractual obligations with the execution of head contract and subcontract requirements.
  • Coordinating and managing project and site documentation.
  • Preparing, negotiating, and finalising subcontract packages.
  • Preparing contract progress claims, variations, and EoT claims.
  • Managing project accounts and assist with accurate financial tracking/forecasting.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience as a Contract Administrator within the South Australian market, and exposure to commercial construction projects will be favourable. You will have relevant qualifications in Construction Management, along with sound knowledge of contract negotiation, variations and RFI’s will see you transition smoothly into this position.
