This national building contractor is at an important stage of growth, with the embarkment of several innovative and challenging projects throughout South Australia in the pipeline. They have a very interesting portfolio of current and future projects in the commercial, industrial, retail, residential, health and education sectors. With a project portfolio ranging up to $500M+, they continue to win work within SA, and invest in their staff to be the best they can be. Due to recent project wins, ROUSSOS are assisting them in sourcing an experienced Contract Administrator with fabulous negotiation skills, and a commercial acumen that places you as a strong industry professional.
The Role
We are looking for a CA who has a burning ambition to move to the next level. To be successful in this role, you will have fantastic attention to detail, but also be driven to move at a pace that means that the projects are delivered on time and on budget. Your eye for detail and ability to always forward plan will set you apart from others in the industry.
As a successful CA in this role, you will be involved in the following:
- Preparing head contract progress claims and reports
- Negotiation of subcontract packages and subcontract administration
- Preparation and submission of variation orders and contractual notices
- Liaising with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
- Assisting in project cost reporting and forecasting
