We have been engaged by one of SA’s leading Developer Builders to help source an ambitious Senior Architect Project Leader, who is looking to step into a Design Management role. Using your expertise across design, you will oversee all design activities and provide expert advice to valued consultants. With a vast project portfolio across commercial, medical, education, retail and industrial sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to diversify your exposure on a variety of projects valued up to $30M. You will be joining a business that truly value and invest in their staff – a business with a strong reputation and key relationships through the SA market. Working closely with the Directors, you will significantly impact the continued exceptional project outcomes that the team deliver their clients. The Role
In your role as Design Manager, you will be managing the design process of new and existing projects, working closely with external consultants to ensure design delivery will exceed client expectations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Review design activities on projects in consultation with other managers and professionals
- Assess opportunities and apply an innovative commercial approach to design options and strategy
- Take the lead role in reducing risk and increasing opportunity through smart and innovative design solutions
- Manage design packages, while ensuring that the design deliverables are within budget
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
We would love to hear from those with 5+ years’ experience working within the Architecture space in a Project Leader role, or similar. Your experience will be combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to drive consultants and clients successful design outcomes.
