Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an Estimator with 3+ years of local commercial construction experience to join their Adelaide team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to continue developing their technical and commercial capability while gaining broader exposure across cost planning, procurement, and project delivery.
Working closely with experienced Construction Managers, Project Managers and Directors, you will be involved across the full tender process on projects ranging from fit-outs and refurbishments through to larger-scale commercial new builds. The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Managing subcontractor pricing and supplier engagement
- Assisting with procurement and cost planning activities
- Preparing BOQs, tender documentation and trade comparisons
- Supporting project handovers to delivery teams
- Liaising with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process
- Working closely with senior management on pricing strategy and project opportunities
We are looking to connect with Estimators who bring:
- 3+ years’ local experience within commercial construction estimating
- Exposure to fit-out, refurbishment or new build projects
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive attitude and genuine interest in continuing to grow within the industry
