The Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for managing tenders from initial enquiry through to project handover.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for multi-storey apartment developments
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Completing detailed quantity take-offs and subcontractor packages
- Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks
- Working closely with project delivery teams to develop winning tender strategies
- Assisting with contract reviews and project handovers following successful tenders
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
You are an experienced Estimator who enjoys taking ownership and delivering commercially sound tenders.
You will bring:
- 5+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
- Demonstrated experience pricing multi-storey apartment projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and buildability
- Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Confidence working independently while collaborating with project teams
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
