Finance Administrator

Job description

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join a well-established and award-winning architectural studio based in Adelaide’s CBD. The continued growth of the studio now calls for the need to engage a talented and self-motivated team member to manage the finances for key projects. Priding themselves on their ability to deliver projects of high quality, against sometimes competing priorities of cost, function, planning constraints and demands, this studio is seeking a Finance Administrator to support the Senior Leadership team.   

The Role
As a savvy self-starter with a hands-on work ethic and approachable nature, you will uphold company values and soak in all there is to learn across the industry. 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 
  • Manage the financial aspects of multiple projects for the Adelaide studio, across a range of project sectors and values 
  • Coordinate aged debtor reports and follow up with clients
  • Collaborate with architects and project leaders to manage project invoicing and financial reporting 
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to submit progress claims for projects 
  • Provide high level administration and finance support to the leadership team 
  • Manage and monitor project budgets
The Like Mind:
The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications and have at least 3-5 years’ experience in financial administration. Although not essential, knowledge of Total Synergy software will be highly regarded, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders essential. You will possess high levels of initiative and accountability, and your proactive, can-do attitude will allow you to resolve issues as they arise. Your financial expertise and sound understanding of financial practices, specifically in a consultancy will see you seamlessly transition into this role.
