ROUSSOS have partnered with Melisi Projects to source their newest HSEQ Advisor to join their high performing team. Delivering a range of services within the South Australian market across residential, commercial, and civil construction for over 20 years, Melisi Projects demonstrates a strong commitment to investing in their people and clients. Producing a variety of medium density works, they specialise in the delivery of architectural design homes, stylish high-end apartment builds and retirement living and government housing solutions. This is a role that requires an experienced safety resource to oversee the Implementation and continual development of well-established safety management systems across the business.
The Role
As Melisi Projects' new HSEQ Advisor, you will be supporting site personnel and ultimately be responsible for fostering a culture of safety. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Implementing safety management procedures
Uphold an awareness of WHS legislation, guidelines, and risk management in relation to the building industry
Ensure company policies and procedures are maintained to reflect legislative requirements
Conduct site inspections and audits
Coordinate incident investigations and required reporting
Provide safety education and training
Assist in development of hazard and risk identification processes and controls

Working for Melisi Projects, you will be representing and developing for a unique organisation who are known for delivering innovative and respected design and construction projects that stand the test of time. The successful HSEQ Advisor will have a Certificate IV in WHS and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the building or construction industry.
You will have extensive knowledge of the current WHS legislation in relation to the building industry and high attention to detail when managing multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal skills will enable you to build solid working relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
