Landscape Architect

Job description

This inter-disciplinary architectural practice has become a leader both in the local and national market for producing unique designs, that focused on sustainability. Their diverse offering includes landscape architecture, town planning and the capability for urban design.
As this national practice continues to grow, they are looking to engage a Landscape Architect to bolster their team. This role will see you become a key part of a studio of planners and designers, that collaborate to produce designs that truly change the way people live and work.
  
The Role
You will have the opportunity to plan, design and manage a variety of landscape projects. As part of the successful team, you will be responsible for preparing concept designs, detailed landscape designs, preparation of tenders and undertaking of contract management and administration.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Prepare and review landscape planning concepts
  • Manage large- and small-scale projects
  • Prepare and deliver project plans and documents
  • Provide advice to community groups, consultants, and stakeholders
The Like Mind
To be successful in this role, you will have the relevant qualifications in landscape architecture and 5+ years of experience working as a Landscape Architect within the local market. Registration or the ability to be registered with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects will be essential for this role. Software experience using Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD is preferable. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build great relationships with consultants, stakeholders, and team members. Above all, we are looking for someone who loves design, can drive processes and is driven by a solid team.
