We are excited to be engaged by a prominent national civil contractor, known for their can-do approach, and demonstrated determination to deliver exceptional outcomes. Due to an ever-growing pipeline of projects, this business is now welcoming a Project Engineer to their team who will work across projects up to $30M in value! As you work across a range of project capabilities from major bulk earthworks to detailed construction and engineering projects, you will gain experience on a broad scope of works including site infrastructure, construction upgrades, civil demolition and landscaping.
The Role
Immersed in a hands-on Project Engineering position, both site and office based, this opportunity will see you executing the technical formation and delivery of numerous projects.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Support project delivery teams from planning to project completion
- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities
- Ensure project implementation according to plans, designs and specifications
- Build and foster exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Understand Safety & Environmental requirements and Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement Work Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans, and related documentation
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is crucial for this role, as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. As this position requires liaising with Project Management and Supervisors, effective communication skills are required to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will require a proactive and can-do attitude to hit the ground running and to exceed client expectations.
