Already a team of 12, Sproutt continue to grow maintaining a flat management structure to ensure the warmth and collaborative nature of the team remains. As such, they are looking for a Senior Civil Designer as their next appointment. Working with the support of Directors, this senior role will provide you with a platform to make the role your own, while leading projects alongside the Senior Civil Engineer. The Role
In your role as a Senior Civil Designer, you will play an integral part of Sproutt’s design and drafting process as you work collaboratively to deliver projects. You will also have support from a junior Drafter/Designer on all projects, where you will need to collaborate and actively mentor. Reporting to the Senior Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
To succeed in this role, you will have sound experience designing local government and urban design projects, in addition to having knowledge and perspective across other project sectors. Strong demonstrated experience using 12D software will be essential, and experience using Civil 3D software will be beneficial. Knowledge of the relevant Australian design standards, practices and codes will assist you in fulfilling this role. You will have strong communications skills, and rapport building ability to work closely with clients. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced Civil Designer who is eager to build their career within the company, contributing to the delivery of high-quality projects.

- Evolve design documentation
- Manage software systems, document control and quality assurance
- Determine construction cost and material estimates based off civil designs
- Manage design projects within assigned timelines and within budget
- Perform design changes and improvements according to changing project demands
