Successfully operating for more than 100 years in the industry, this national well-established Tier 1 contractor has completed multiple high profile and challenging landmark projects. The team are recognised for their expertise in the delivery of iconic buildings across Australia in commercial and residential high-rise defence, health, education and government. For them they offer genuine support, and commitment to flexibility and stability, which has contributed to maintaining lengthy tenures within the team. Due to continued growth, the team are looking to engage a Services Engineer. This role would suit a Project Engineer with a key focus across services, or a Design Engineer who is looking to transition into a head contractor environment.
The Role
Reporting directly to one of the states most experienced Services Managers, you will assist in the coordination of all site activities in relation to services. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Assist overseeing the delivery of work on site in accordance with the design brief
- Oversee installation of building services, ensuring compliance with local regulatory bodies, and building codes
- Liaise with subcontractors throughout project delivery
- Managing safe working procedures, project documentation and contracts
- Maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers and the internal team
Previous technical knowledge across mechanical or electrical services with exposure on commercial projects would be highly regarded. With your strong communication skills, you will be able to liaise with various personalities from trades, subcontractors, stakeholders, and clients. You will demonstrate technical and commercial understanding of project delivery, you will be able to identify, interpret and communicate project plans across various trades, subcontractors, stakeholders, and clients.
