With the acquisition of $30M commercial project, this national commercial contractor is looking for an experienced Site Manager, with a strong technical capability who can take the lead on this site. For more than 60 years, the team have delivered award-winning project outcomes across a wide range of sectors including office, hospitality, health and aged care, retail, residential, and education. You will be joining a construction partner of choice, with have well-established relationships throughout the state, with subcontractors, developers and architects. The Role:
As you take the lead on a $30M commercial build, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Lead and provide mentorship the entire site team
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors
• Ensure the teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines
• Liaise closely with clients and internal departments
• Processing paperwork and travelling to multiple sites as required
• Identify and promptly solve issues as they arise
The Like Mind
This role would suit a Site Manager who has experience delivering commercial projects $10M+ and a natural ability to coordinate diverse project teams and contractors. You will have a sound understanding of project drawing and specifications, along with knowledge of building construction works and sequencing of activities. Your strong communication skills will assist you in liaising with various personalities, from trades to subcontractors and clients. Demonstrated ability in building long-term and effective relationships is key, to ensure a smooth completion of projects.
