The Role
As Site Safety Officer, you will support site personnel and ultimately be responsible for fostering a culture of safety. You will:
To be successful, you will have a Certificate IV in WHS and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role with a commercial construction contractor. You will have extensive knowledge of the current legislation and risk management processes, in addition to an understanding of quality, health, and safety management systems and enjoys working on-site. Bring your strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, and firm ability to build solid working relationship with employees and stakeholders of all levels. The Role

- Implement safety management procedures
- Uphold an awareness of WHS legislation, guidelines, and risk management in relation to the building industry
- Ensure company policies and procedures are maintained to reflect legislative requirements
- Conduct site inspections and audits
- Coordinate incident investigations and required reporting
- Provide safety education and training
- Assist in development of hazard and risk identification processes and controls
