Built on technical excellence, innovation and quality, this multidisciplinary engineering consultancy has continued to expand across South Australia, providing a variety of services to the design and construction industry. With over 30 years of industry experience, this consultancy has developed their capacity to deliver a range of projects across both the residential and commercial sectors. As part of their strategic growth plan, they are looking to engage a Team Manager to manage the volume housing division. This integral leadership role will see you join the close-knit team, and work within an inclusive and diverse working environment.
  
The Role
This role will see you lead and manage a team of professional engineers and technical officers within the Structural Engineering team. As Team Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Collaborating with Senior Engineers to deliver improved workflow strategies and service level outcomes
  • Provide reporting on team performance to the Directors
  • Build new client networks while maintaining existing and repeat client relationships
  • Manage and support team members to maintain a high-performance quality culture
  • Undertake annual performance management of team members with assistance from HR
  • Monitor and manage job output and resourcing

To be successful in this role you will have the relevant tertiary qualifications and previous experience leading and supporting a team. We are eager to hear from someone with a strong team management history within the building space and are open to hearing from professionals from different working backgrounds outside of engineering. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to foster client relationships and contribute towards business development. Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills will be essential to this role, as you will manage various priorities simultaneously. In addition, you will have the ability to collaboratively resolve arising design issues and technical challenges.
