The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and growing developer-builder delivering quality construction projects. With a strong pipeline of work and continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Accounts administrator who has a love for accounts payable and is eager to take full ownership of the AP and accounts function.

This is a critical role within the finance team, requiring someone who can manage high transaction volumes with accuracy, understands construction processes, and thrives in a fast-paced project environment.

The Role

Accounts Administrator professional with construction experience to step into a hands-on, high-volume role within a growing business, where your contribution directly supports project delivery and commercial outcomes.

This is a hands-on Accounts Administrator position suited to someone who is proactive, detail-driven, and confident managing the end-to-end AP process. You will play an essential role in ensuring  payments, supplier invoices, and project-related costs are administered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end Accounts Payable processing in a high-volume environment
  • Administer construction contracts, claims, progress payments, drawdowns and retention
  • Manage payments with accuracy and timeliness
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies proactively
  • Work closely with project managers and contract administrators
  • Maintain accurate financial records within Xero
  • Utilise systems such as Payapps and Procore (highly regarded)
  • Identify process improvements and ensure strong financial controls

You understand the pace and complexity of construction projects and are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
