Operating in the $20–40 million project range, this business prioritises quality, liveability, and long-term value, with each development approached with care and intent.
With a growing pipeline of well-considered urban infill projects, the team is now seeking an Assistant Development Manager to support the delivery of projects from early feasibility through to completion. This role offers rare, hands-on exposure within a collaborative team where your contribution will be genuinely valued.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to help drive the successful delivery of multiple residential developments.

With a growing pipeline of well-considered urban infill projects, the team is now seeking an Assistant Development Manager to support the delivery of projects from early feasibility through to completion. This role offers rare, hands-on exposure within a collaborative team where your contribution will be genuinely valued.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to help drive the successful delivery of multiple residential developments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting project administration, reporting and cost tracking in line with feasibility targets
- Assisting in the preparation of project briefs that align with design, market and commercial objectives
- Monitoring project budgets and financial performance throughout the development lifecycle
- Coordinating consultant teams and authority approvals
- Attending and contributing to Project Control Group (PCG) meetings
- Supporting projects through construction and assisting with handover and completion processes
You are motivated, detail-driven and passionate about high-quality residential development. You enjoy being involved in the detail, working closely with decision-makers, and contributing to projects you can take pride in.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Experience in property development, construction or a related commercial environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Property, Engineering, Architecture, Planning or a related discipline
