We have been engaged by one of South Australia’s most prominent aged care providers to assist in sourcing an Assistant Project Manager. The team have built a reputable and well-established name for themselves through their commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused projects, while developing nurturing and maintaining strong industry relationships. Reporting through to a Project Team Manager who has extensive experience across project development and delivery, you will be gain first class mentorship, training, and development. As Assistant Project Manager you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects across residential aged care homes and retirement living villages. The Role
Working across design, development, and contract documentation, you will be engaged from initial conception right through to the final delivery of key projects. The key to success within this role is that you will effectively manage project scopes, ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget, while maintaining all project objectives.
  
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the full project management lifecycle

  • Assist in the coordination of the feasibility, planning and design stages

  • Take the lead across smaller project works

  • Manage the project scope definition and coordination of design development

  • Tender management, focusing on contracts administration

  • Assist with site programming and contractor coordination

  • Ongoing management and review of project defects

To be successful in your new role, you will be an energetic and driven construction professional with experience 1-2 years’ experience working in the commercial construction industry either contractor or client side. You will bring a proven track record of project experience within the Adelaide Market, paired with relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar. Your experience will be combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to drive project outcomes. Most importantly, you will work well in a collaborative team environment and will be ready to hit the ground running in your new role!
