We have been engaged by one of SA’s leading Developer Builders to help source an ambitious Assistant Project Manager who will contribute to the delivery of a range of projects from complex new builds, refurbishments, fit-outs, services upgrades and infrastructure works. With a capability to deliver works across commercial, medical, education, retail and industrial sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to diversify your exposure on a variety of projects valued up to $15M. You will be joining a business that truly value and invest in their staff – a business with a strong reputation and key relationships through the SA market. Working closely with the Directors and Project Management team, you will grow your industry knowledge and positively impact the delivery of projects. The Role
Working closely with the Directors and the Project Management team, you will assist in the delivery of commercial projects from $5M - $15M. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your commercial project exposure and work within a team of knowledgeable construction professionals.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist with the full project management lifecycle
- Assist with the coordination of the feasibility, planning and design stages
- Manage the project scope definition, coordination of design development
- Coordinate the appointment of consultants
- Tender management with a strong focus on contracts administration
This developer builder has a hands-on approach to business… So ideally, our suitable candidate must possess outstanding communication skills to ensure a personable yet professional approach to how they do business. You will bring relevant tertiary qualifications, proven commercial delivery experience in the Australian market, and at least 2 years’ working experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator/ Assistant Project Manager.
