We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to work with a developer/builder on complex projects in the commercial, residential, arts, aged care, education and health sector. Our client manages a diverse range of projects from new builds, refurbishments, infrastructure, services upgrades and infrastructure works. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse developer in a dynamic and supportive team environment!
The Role
As Assistant Project Manager you will work alongside the Project Manager/Director to deliver a variety of high-end projects. Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

You will bring proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or a background in a similar role carrying transferrable skills with minimum of 3+ years. Being a commercially astute individual, you will carry a driven and high-performing attitude through all your ongoing works. You will also require relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline with proven commercial project delivery experience in the Australian market.

The Role
As Assistant Project Manager you will work alongside the Project Manager/Director to deliver a variety of high-end projects. Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist with the coordination across the entire life cycle, including concept design, tendering, award, delivery and handover
- Liaise with consultants, contractors and relevant stakeholders
- Review and evaluate project programs to ensure the project is being delivered to budget and on time
- Tender management with a strong focus on contracts administration
- Monthly forecasting and cost reporting
