The role
This senior level position will see you working across a broad range of projects where you will lead a team of structural engineers and drafters to produce design and documentation to the highest possible standard. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:  
  • Being an active part of the leadership team, contributing to management conversations and strategic growth of the consultancy.
  • Working across a varied, hands-on role with a leadership angle across design management and construction phase services.
  • To mentor, train and develop the careers of Junior Engineers, while sharing in the management of the local team with direct reports.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multi-disciplinary engineering setting.
  • Enjoying exposure to business development opportunities and development of your own personal brand.
The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and proven experience as a Structural Engineer, managing projects and teams. As this is a leadership role you will need the ability to effectively build rapport and relationships with clients and stakeholders as well as mentoring junior structural engineers. To be as successful as you can in this role, you will have strong self-management skills and experience leading a team towards successful outcomes.
