As a result of growth, we are looking to engage a Building Designer to join the team of a reputable South Australian design firm. This established company has seen success through combining their industry experience with knowledge of current design trends, creating a complete service that exceeds client expectations. The team are dedicated to working hands on with all of their clients to make sure their needs are understood and accomplished down to the detail.
The Role
In this role, you will be working on high-end custom homes within a business that has built their reputation for producing innovative and quality architectural designs. Joining the creative and professional design team, you will be liaising with clients to take a detailed brief, developing unique designs and enhancing the existing design plans for new homes, renovations, and commercial projects. Documentation, planning and creating technical working drawings will be a key part of your role, doing so autonomously and within a team environment.
The Like Mind
The successful candidate will have experience working in a Builder Designer role, within a residential builder or architectural studio. You will have completed a Diploma in Building Design, in addition to experience using Revit and AutoCAD. You will have sound knowledge of the building process and be confident in conducting design briefs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to build strong working relationships with clients. This role will see you align yourself with an established and successful brand and give you the opportunity to contribute to significant and complex projects.
