Partnering with this national engineering consultancy, we looking to engage a Building Services Drafter to join their local team. With a diverse project offering, you will have the opportunity to work across significant tier 1 and 2 style projects across the state. This Adelaide owned and operated business has a longstanding senior leadership team, allowing for mentorship and long-term career development pathways. You will become part of a supportive and collaborative team, as you contribute to the delivery unique projects.
The Role
Joining the design team, you will undertake drafting across various building services projects. You will ensure that the technical and quality requirements of drawings are achieved, and design quality procedures are applied.
In the role of Building Services Drafter, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
- Coordinating CAD drawings for tender and construction
- Training and mentoring new employees to current standards and practices
- Providing documentation for issuing including drawings and specifications
- Communication and coordination with external stakeholders including architects and engineers
The Like Mind
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within building services drafting – any specialty will be considered. In addition to this, you will have proven experience using AutoCAD and Revit software and a sound understanding of BIM modelling. Your problem-solving skills will allow you to overcome challenges and work collaboratively within a driven team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential, as liaising with architects and engineers will be part of your role.
