Due to continuous growth, this organisation is looking to engage a Civil Engineer that possess design experience in property and infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for growing and leading a team to deliver on highly technical and complex engineering works across bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure, storm water drainage and major roads.
The role
As Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a range of services from inception through to construction and high-quality technical documentation. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and multiple years of consultancy experience delivering land development projects. In addition to strong communication skills both verbal and written. Your strong technical skillset, attention to detail and drive to produce outstanding outcomes will see you succeed in this role. The role
As Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a range of services from inception through to construction and high-quality technical documentation. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Produce civil engineering drawings and designs, including stormwater drainage and erosion control designs, design of crossings for waterways, pipelines, rail, and roads.
- Ensuring engineering design is compliant with Australian Standards, guides and codes
- Provide input into the preparation of project specifications, scopes of work, services review and project opinion of probable cost
- Prepare concept, feasibility and detailed design documentation and obtain relevant reviews and approvals
- Conduct site inspections with clients; contractors; council and regulatory authorities where required.
