The Opportunity
We are partnering with a national civil engineering consultancy, to engage a Civil Engineer. With a growing project portfolio, they are looking to bolster their team with an experienced Civil Engineer. This role will see you join a diverse team of technical professionals and contribute to the delivery of significant projects across the buildings, land divisions and infrastructure sectors.
  
The Role
As Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills across a diverse range of complex projects, working with a team of civil engineers, drafters, and designers.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Civil engineering design and coordination will be a major aspect of the role, providing you with great project exposure and an insight into career development pathways in the long-term.
  • Ensuring engineering design is compliant with Australian Standards, guides and codes.
  • Provide input into the preparation of project specifications, scopes of work, services review and project opinion of probable cost.
  • Prepare concept, feasibility and detailed design documentation and obtain relevant reviews and approvals.
  • Conduct site inspections with clients; contractors; council and regulatory authorities where required.

To be successful in this position, you will hold the relevant qualifications and will have 4+ years of local experience within the industry working for a consultancy. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will assist you in developing strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
