The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the HSEQ framework across all projects in SA and VIC. You will act as a key advisor to project and executive leadership, ensuring that systems, processes, and site operations not only meet legislative compliance—but set a benchmark for best practice.
This role is about more than just compliance—it’s about embedding a proactive, forward-thinking approach to safety and wellbeing as the business continues to grow.
Key responsibilities will include:
You are a proven HSEQ professional with the capability to lead high-performing safety teams, inspire cultural change, and influence at all levels of the business. You bring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach and thrive on building strong relationships across operations, site teams, and senior leadership. Your experience in civil or commercial construction will be supported by a Certificate IV in WHS (minimum), with a deep knowledge of legislation, risk management, and best practice safety systems. - Embedding HSEQ strategy into project planning and delivery
- Fostering a strong, positive safety culture across all project teams
- Providing clear, insightful reporting on safety performance, trends, and initiatives
- Leading site safety inspections and proactively identifying areas for improvement
- Coordinating and conducting internal audits to ensure high standards are consistently met
