About the Company

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a Tier 3 civil contractor that stands out for its people-first culture, long-standing client relationships, and commitment to developing its team. With a strong presence across metropolitan Adelaide and surrounding regions, this contractor delivers complex civil projects ranging from $5M to $15M, including earthworks, stormwater, pavements, structural concrete, and urban infrastructure. Supported by a capable, experienced leadership team, you’ll grow in responsibility while learning from the best.

About the Role

As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of delivering civil and structural projects, splitting your time between site and office. You’ll work alongside experienced project leaders, gradually taking on more responsibility as you demonstrate capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and on-site coordination
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and daily site activities
  • Support project financials including budgets, cost tracking, and reporting
  • Prepare high-quality documentation such as Work Method Statements, ITPs, and quality records
  • Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met across all operations
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Supervisors to deliver outstanding results

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 2–3 years experience in civil project delivery (earthworks, structures, stormwater, pavements, or similar)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and coordination skills
  • A collaborative mindset and hunger to grow into a senior role
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn from an experienced leadership team
