The Opportunity
ROUSSOS is partnering with a leading South Australian civil contractor which offers civil engineering and concreting services, who are known for their ability to deliver large-scale, complex projects. Their delivery capability includes bulk earthworks, structural concreting, service installation, carpark and road construction, amongst others. Promoting a healthy work-life balance and offering genuine pathways for career development, this contractor continually delivers high-quality civil construction projects up to the value of $20M. Due to an increasingly strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are now seeking a Civil Project Manager to join their tight knit team.
  
The Role
This Project Manager opportunity will be primarily responsible for managing the delivery of a diverse range of civil construction projects. Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes, this role will see you leading highly capable, self-perform teams.
  
Your responsibilities will include, but a not limited to:
  • Collaborating closely with Site Supervisors and wider teams throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
  • Managing project programming, planning, forecasting & reporting
  • Developing and managing project schedules
  • Leading by example by setting a high standard of Work Health and Safety practices on site and implementing company policy and procedures.
  • Liaising with clients and effectively meeting requirements relating to progress claims, EOT’s and RFI’s
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in civil engineering and a track record of successfully completing various civil construction projects. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required, along with a demonstrated capacity to thrive in dynamic environments. It is preferable that that successful candidate has hands-on experience working on a diverse range of civil projects. Strong communication skills are vital as the role entails collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
