Civil - Site Supervisor

We are partnering with a highly respected South Australian contractor with a diversified portfolio of civil construction projects, who is seeking a Civil Site Supervisor to join the team. Delivering projects valued up to $20M, this innovative organisation prides itself on their relationship driven approach and their quality delivery of projects, which has allowed them to build a strong reputation in the local market. With a strong focus on their people, you will join a collaborative and supportive environment, in a contractor that looks after both their team and clients. They have a secure pipeline of work coming up with DIT and local councils, which is why they are now seeking a Civil Site Supervisor to join their established team.
  
The Role
In this Site Supervisor role, you will work closely with Project Managers and be responsible for overseeing the daily on-site operations, on projects up to $20M in value. This role will primarily be responsible for supervising and directing staff, subcontractors and suppliers toward delivering high quality outputs on time and within budget.

Other key duties and responsibilities will involve:
  • Plan and manage the overall allocation of plant, materials and human resources, to meet key project timelines for assigned projects.
  • Liaise with all subcontractors and ensure completed works meet the required specifications.
  • Ensure that workers adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Participate in or conduct site audits, client meetings, signoffs, safety inspections and other requirements, at appropriate stages for each project; and
  • With support from the Project Manager, ensure project documentation and administration is completed as required.  
The ideal candidate
To be successful in this role, you will possess demonstrated experience working in a supervisor role on civil construction projects. You’ll have great leadership and communication skills, which will assist you in liaising with various trades, subcontractors to suppliers and clients. As a contractor renowned for their drive to deliver exceptional outcomes, you will join a team of passionate and hardworking professionals. Whilst this role will be primarily Adelaide-metro based, the successful candidate will be required to deliver regional projects on a drive-in-drive-out basis, on occasion.
