Job description
The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with Waternish in their search for an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of key civil and water infrastructure projects across South Australia.
Approaching 30 years in operation, Waternish has built a reputation for delivering pipelines, pump stations and complex civil works through practical execution, strategic planning and long standing client relationships. Their success is underpinned by a people first culture that values experience, trust and doing the job properly.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a site leadership role within a stable, well established contractor where Supervisors are respected, supported and trusted to run their sites.
The Role
As Site Supervisor at Waternish, you will take ownership of day to day site delivery, acting as the key point of leadership for subcontractors and site teams. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while maintaining momentum and strong relationships on site.
You will be entrusted with coordinating site activities, managing safety and quality compliance, tracking progress against program and resolving day to day site challenges as they arise. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys being on site, leading from the front and being accountable for outcomes.
Importantly, this role comes with genuine authority on site, direct access to management and planning support behind you.
The Like Mind
Waternish is seeking a practical, solutions focused Site Supervisor with experience across civil or water infrastructure projects. A background in civil construction or plumbing will be highly regarded due to the technical nature of the work.
You will be someone who values consistency, clear communication and respect on site, and who takes pride in delivering quality outcomes.
To be successful, you will bring:
• Proven experience supervising civil or water infrastructure works
• Solid knowledge of safety, quality and environmental compliance
• A calm, confident leadership style with the ability to coordinate multiple trades
• A hands on approach and problem solving capability
• Experience working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams
Why Waternish
At Waternish, Site Supervisors are not micromanaged or sidelined. Your experience is valued, your input is respected and your role is critical to project success.
You can expect:
• Well planned projects with delivery support
• Direct access to decision makers in a close knit business
• Competitive pay and conditions aligned to responsibility
• A stable, long term role with a contractor nearing 30 years in operation
• A genuine people first culture with no ego
