ROUSSOS are partnering with a leading South Australian contractor who is seeking a Contract Administrator to contribute to high quality projects and provide exceptional service to their clients. With over 20 years of experience within the commercial construction industry, this single-select builder works predominantly with developers and has developed a strong reputation and meaningful industry relationships which has led to constant repeat work and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects valued up to $30M across the commercial, industrial and retail sectors. The role
In your role as Contract Administrator you will have an opportunity to be involved in the complete end-to-end delivery of a project. You will carry out monthly onsite valuations and record progress variations, whilst ensuring all financial and contractual obligations are in compliance.   
 
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Produce, prepare, and review packages, scopes, and procurement schedules
  • Client liaison, communicating directly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Administer RFI’s to clients
  • Manage and track expenditure
  • Progress claims, invoices, variations, and relevant paperwork
  • Ensure suppliers and subcontractors are compliant with their proposed schedules
  • Preparation of tender documentation required for the procurement of sub-contractors including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works, comparative tender analysis and recommendations 
The ideal candidate
The successful Contract Administrator will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management and have previous experience in the Australian commercial construction industry. You will have excellent communication skills and be a strong negotiator with high attention to detail. This is a role where you must be ready to step out of a restrictive culture and into a more dynamic environment. Therefore, you will have the strong ability to build a solid rapport with a variety of internal and external key stakeholders. A proactive, professional attitude will be essential within this role as you will have the opportunity to expand and develop your leadership skills under the guidance of skilled industry mentors.
