As this organisation continues to expand, ROUSSOS Recruitment is excited to introduce a new opportunity with South Australia's leading developer-builder. We're seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a well-established team, which comprises nearly 80 professionals. With notable works delivered across a ranges of sectors including commercial, residential, education, health and industrial this role will see you contribute to the successful delivery of a key flagship mixed use commercial complex. The role
This will not be a rigid Contract Administrator role. You will have a rare and exciting opportunity to get involved in the complete end-to-end delivery of a project. Where possible you will be given Project Management duties to further develop your experience. You will be required to successfully vet, negotiate and let sub-contract packages to effectively increase project cost efficiency in the early stages. You will carry out monthly on-site valuations and accurately record and process variations, taking into consideration all associated financial and contractual obligations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering, reviewing and negotiating with subcontractors
- Assisting on matters relating to implementation of policies and procedures
- Managing RFI's to architects, clients and consultants
- Providing senior management with relevant documentation in a timely manner
- Preparing project budgets for review and account forecasting
- Preparing budgets and maintain oversight
- Processing progress claims, delay claims and external variations
The ideal candidate
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have the proven ability to work as a Contracts Administrator on building projects in Adelaide and who are keen to continue diversifying their experience. The key to success within this role is to ensure that you are a proactive Contract Administrator who shows initiative and isn't scared to ask questions. We need an individual who wants to be involved with projects scopes as well as helping the Project Managers ensure all project are delivered on time and to budget whilst achieving all project objectives. Most importantly, you will work well in a collaborative team environment and have excellent communication skills to manage internal stakeholder expectations.
