As this organisation continues to expand, ROUSSOS Recruitment is thrilled to introduce a new opportunity with South Australia's leading developer-builder. We're looking for a building Cost Planner / Estimator to join a well-established team, which comprises nearly 80 professionals. In this role, you'll report to both the Director and Project Director, collaborating closely with an experienced estimator and overseeing administrative support staff who will report directly to you. Your responsibilities will encompass estimating, cost planning and implementing value management during design reviews for negotiated projects. This role offers not only the chance to diversify your project expertise through estimating projects ranging from $5M to Tier 1 flagship projects, but also provides an opportunity to collaborate with and learn from the industry's most innovative and influential figures within the South Australian marketplace.
 
The role
Our client is in search of an enthusiastic candidate with a keen eye for detail to support the creation of top-notch tender proposals and cost estimates. Daily responsibilities involve close collaboration with the Estimating and Management teams, conducting assessments of tender documentation, preparing trade scope packages, developing cost estimates and evaluating subcontractor quotations. While prior experience with Cubit Estimating Software is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. This builder's tender process emphasises collaboration, with the team sharing their extensive industry expertise and working together to craft submissions of the highest quality.
