This well-established Developer Builder is looking for a Design Manager to join their high-achieving team and contribute to their continued success. Their longstanding history within the South Australian market has seen them build an extensive and diverse range of skills, allowing the business to offer the whole spectrum of development and building services. With the acquisition of more projects and further growth within the business they are now seeking a driven Design Manager to join their growing organisation and to share in their passion for all that they do!
The Role
In your role as Design Manager, you will join the team in delivering outstanding and client focused projects. Your key responsibilities will be to oversee the preparation of drawings and tender documents, while coordinating architectural design, detailing and specifications to ensure that all aspects are carried out in accordance with company procedures. You will also assist in the integration of planning, safety, quality, commercial, construction and design issues to manage project design risks. As this is a client-facing role, strong interpersonal and communication skills will be key.
The Like Mind
The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified, with a degree in Construction Management, Architecture or similar. You will have design management experience, working on commercial construction projects in a client centred role. Demonstrated leadership and management skills will be essential, as well as the ability to collaborative within a fast paced and challenging working environment. You will have an eye for detail and have a strong focus on problem solving. We are seeking a Design Manager who is driven by delivering excellence and is eager to cement their career within a leading commercial builder.
