Operating for over 60 years, this national business has grown from a small interior fit out business to one of Australia’s most respected interior construction specialists, manufacturers, and property developers. As they continue to grow their SA team, they are now looking to engage an Estimator who’s focus will be across delivering successful tenders, from the moment they land within the business to tender handover.
The Role
Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:

To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years previous experience working as an Estimator, in addition to the relevant tertiary qualifications. You will have strong communication skills to work with a wide group of people and develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have exceptional time management skills, and the ability to take initiative when making decisions within the department. The Role
Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Breaking down scope of works
- Billing of quantities
- Preparing documentation for planned projects
- Provide support to Estimating team
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders, negotiating the tender process
- Provide cost effective innovative project solutions during tender period
- Review design and documentation and provide constructability advice
- Develop and maintain subcontractor and client relationships
- Assist in the development of methodologies, trade scopes and programs
