Due to the acquisition of more projects and further growth within the business, they are now seeking a passionate Estimator to join their team.
The Role
The role of the Estimator is a pivotal role within the business, and this is a great opportunity for a passionate individual with a unique approach to the industry to really step up! You assist the team to deliver business workflow requirements and ensure accuracy of contract documentation, purchase orders and specifications against contract obligations of projects ranging up to $20M.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Breaking down scope of works
- Billing of quantities
- Preparing documentation for planned projects
- Provide support to Estimating team
- Pricing and negotiation of tenders
- Planning and organisation of projects
- Review and maintenance of pricing
We are looking for an exceptional Estimator who really understands how to “build in your head” and thinks like a builder. Thinking outside the box, coming up with clever and imaginative solutions to challenges and having well-developed numerical skills will hold you in high regard. Ideally, we would love someone who has worked for a substantial period of time with a reputable building contractor in the local Adelaide market. The ideal applicant will have experience of both hard dollar and negotiated projects and have a detailed working knowledge of design and construct projects.
