The Role
Joining the high performing team, you will be responsible for producing estimating duties across the full project lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work on significant projects, ensuring they meet specified time constraints and are delivered within budget.
 
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Participating in proposal preparations, competitive bids and reviewing tender documentation
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders, negotiating the tender process
  • Working with Project Managers to manage invoicing / debts and other project tasks
  • Assisting Project Leader's with compliance with Safety in Design & OH&S requirements
  • Daily updates of progress reports and web-based tracking toolkits (database/ data entry)

To be successful in this role, you will have worked for a reputable building contractor for 3+ years in the South Australian market, in addition to the relevant tertiary qualifications. Alongside your experience, you will uphold time management skills, and the ability to make proactive decisions within the estimating department. You will have strong communication skills to work with a wide group of people and develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
