The Opportunity
 
This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimator with at least 3 years of experience to join one of the most renowned construction companies nationally. You will be part of a capable estimating team where accuracy, collaboration and smart thinking matter. This role offers genuine exposure to the full tender lifecycle, from early review through to handover, and the chance to see your work translate into projects delivered on site. The Role:
 
In this role, you will:
  • Prepare estimates in line with client specifications, design briefs and internal procedures
  • Review tender documentation and develop a clear understanding of client requirements
  • Manage tender timelines and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Undertake quantity take-offs and assist with procurement activities
  • Prepare cost estimates and technical submissions based on drawings, specifications and cost data
  • Develop execution proposals in collaboration with operational teams
  • Participate in post-tender reviews (successful and unsuccessful)
  • Review contract documentation upon award prior to acceptance
  • Assist with project start-up and handover to the project delivery team
  • Manage tender registrations, documentation, submissions and filing

You are  an Estimator who is building momentum in your career and wants to be part of a team where your development is taken seriously.
 
You will have:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent)
  • 3 years of estimating experience in the construction or building industry (or strong site-based experience transitioning into estimating)
  • Solid analytical and costing skills
  • The ability to plan, organise and work confidently to deadlines
  • A sound understanding of HS&E requirements
  • Clear, confident communication skills and a team-first mindset
