The Job

As an Experienced Leading Hand, you will oversee and lead teams on-site, ensuring smooth project delivery while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising and leading construction teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Managing daily project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with the project delivery team, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve high-quality results.
  • Providing hands-on leadership, support, and guidance to team members, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and environmental requirements.
The Like Mind

You will have experience in civil construction with the flexibility to work and live both metro and regional, with all accommodation expenses covered by the company. You’ll have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Hands-on experience in areas like roadworks, earthworks, and drainage is essential. You will have a keen willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow plans while supporting project delivery, with a focus on safety and quality. You will also have:
  • Civil construction experience, preferably in rural/regional areas.
  • Experience leading a team and strong communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with roadworks, earthworks, drainage, etc.
  • Ability to interpret plans and manage project timelines.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
