We are excited to be partnering with one of South Australia’s leading mechanical engineering specialists, Watson Fitzgerald. Recognised throughout the construction industry as the leading mechanical services firm for the quality of their installations and ongoing maintenance services, they are a locally owned and operated firm which is also known for their technological advancements. With an impressive track record of project delivery, they provide design and construct services to a broad range of clients including hospitals, research laboratories, production facilities, shopping centres, commercial office buildings, hotels and apartment complexes. We are now seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to join their established and knowledgeable team.
The Role
In this Fabrication Supervisor role, you will be primarily responsible for running and maintaining an efficient and quality driven pipework fabrication facility. Working closely with the Workshop Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the fabrication facility to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the production schedule.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated fabrication background, with a high level of experience in pipefitting & welding. You will be a proven leader, who has exceptional organisation and time management skills, to ensure that production schedules are followed in a time efficient manner. You’ll also be a strong communicator, with the ability to connect with a range of stakeholders, due to the collaborative nature of the role.

- Championing the facility’s safe working practices
- Leading a team of pipe fitters
- Reviewing and implementing daily plans & maintaining the production schedule
- Collaborating with the engineering & drawing teams
- Assisting with regular plant and workshop maintenance
