We are partnering with a prominent developer builder to source an experienced Foreman who can contribute to large-scale fit out projects across SA. The team have cemented their reputation for producing high-quality projects, while developing, nurturing and maintaining strong relationships across the state with subcontractors, developers, and architects. Investing in training and development is key to this business, which has contributed to maintaining lengthy tenures within the company. As a passionate and driven Foreman with excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail, you will thrive in this entrepreneurial and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment; calling for responsive thinking and a keen ability to problem solve. Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- On-site supervision and coordination of the project and staff
- Manage Site Health & Safety to the highest standard
- Management of subcontractors, ensuring roles and responsibilities are fulfilled
- Daily safety and quality assurance
- Ensuring daily productivity so the project is delivered on time and to budget
- Regular reporting of scope of work and any on-site issues
- Attending and coordinating necessary site meetings
Previous experience as a Foreman in a commercial contractor environment and trade qualifications are ideal for success on this project. You must have a excellent eye for detail, lead by example and remain composed under pressure. Safety is at the forefront of our client’s values, and you will demonstrate an outstanding track record to ensure high quality and code compliance. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to produce precise and concise written works. This is an environment where you are expected to work collaboratively, understanding that you are all working together to achieve the same outcome.
