In a time of strategic and significant growth, Enerven is looking to engage a Head of Engineering in this newly created role. Enerven specialises in the design, construction and maintenance of substations, telecommunications, and renewable infrastructure. Partnering with key players across the industry, they provide exceptional in-house technical expertise across engineering, procurement, and construction. With an experienced multi-disciplinary engineering team over 50 that continues to rapidly grow, they continue to prove their technical capabilities by delivering on-time and on budget.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for the overall development, capability and delivery of Enerven’s Engineering function. The roleis accountable for the development, implementation and integration of a safe, customer focussed, market leading engineering strategy and function across Enerven.

The successful candidate is required to hold a tertiary qualification within an Engineering discipline with post graduate qualifications highly desirable. You will require 10+ years’ experience in a senior engineering role, preferable in construction, contracting, infrastructure, resource, or energy sectors. You will display experience in leading large multi-disciplinary engineering design and project teams. Proven experience in technical strategic planning, business strategy and execution. As Head of Engineering, you will demonstrate commercial acumen and complex bid preparation skills, as well as experience managing all aspects of design and technical risks. This is a senior leadership role to the market that will allow you to transform your career and make a true impact to the rapid growth and strategic plan of Enerven.

- Delivering efficient and effective engineering services that meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Engineering delivery in line with Enerven’s national growth ambition, established and growing projects and construction markets and ensuring optimal level of resources is maintained.
- Development of internal and external relationships to support the function’s key objectives.
- Continuing to bBuild a national capability to service the significant growing portfolio of work including the management of internal resources, consultants and service providers.
