With previous announcements of the Government fast tracking what will be the single largest release of residential land in the state’s history – set to deliver at least 23,700 homes – ROUSSOS is partnering with a government body to source a key executive role for their SA team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has significant experience in land-form development management to secure a leadership role on what will be a flagship project for the state!
  
The role
The Infrastructure Planning Manager holds a pivotal position within the organisation, tasked with overseeing and managing the planning, development, and coordination of critical infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and long-term strategic objectives for large-scale housing development projects.
  • Develop and execute infrastructure plans that align with the organisations housing goals and future growth.
  • Lead and oversee the planning of infrastructure projects related to housing development.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with infrastructure projects and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Manage comprehensive project documentation, including project plans and contracts.  
The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will require Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Urban & Regional Planning, or a related discipline with substantial experience in growth area planning and/or Development Management. You will have expertise in project management methodologies tailored to the public sector, including experience in overseeing infrastructure projects related to housing and development. You will demonstrate proficiency in evaluating technical documents and engineering design drawings for land divisions and major projects, alongside a substantial background in collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams to prepare project briefs, manage consultant fee proposals, and oversee the design and delivery of land divisions. Additionally, you will have advanced skills in leading and effectively executing intricate or sensitive community and stakeholder engagement processes across various strategic planning projects, catering to diverse audiences.
