This consultancy has built a presence both locally and nationally for their industry leading knowledge and high level of client service. Delivering projects across several major sectors, this organisation can offer exposure across projects within defence, health, education, aged care, retail, and commercial. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will help produce creative solution-based designs and is passionate about providing clients exceptional building services engineering outcomes.
The Role
In this role you will work alongside experienced Engineer’s and gain mentorship to apply technical knowledge and assist on the delivery on a range of projects. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience within the industry, with demonstrated knowledge of design across defence, buildings or industrial projects. Creative problem-solving skills will see you succeed in this role, as you find ways to overcome challenges, working collaboratively within a driven team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will assist you in building great relationships with team members, consultants, and stakeholders. As you work across a range of technical and challenging, projects, you will be provided with opportunities for further growth and development which will be beneficial to your career. Australian citizenship will be required as you will be working across defence projects.

The Role

- Design, review and develop mechanical design components while ensuring compliance & quality assurance
- Engaging with project stakeholders for effective communication
- Work and collaborate with consultants, architects, planners, and quantity surveyors
- Ensure quality design concepts are maintained within best-practice principles
- Capacity to prioritise and manage a solid workload of projects
- Assist in the training and development of junior staff members
