The Role
As Principal Civil Engineer, you will develop and support a team to deliver complex projects across a variety of sectors including land development, transport, and buildings. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
With relevant tertiary qualifications and 10+ years’ experience in the industry, you will have high-level technical skills and understand how to drive the best out of your team. You will have natural leadership qualities, as you will be managing a team as well as your own workload. Ideally, you will have experience working across the successful delivery of land development, transport, or building projects. This role will suit a Senior Civil Engineer from a technical background who is looking to step up in their career and be involved in the senior leadership team.

The Role
As Principal Civil Engineer, you will develop and support a team to deliver complex projects across a variety of sectors including land development, transport, and buildings. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Input, manage and review civil engineering drawings and design
- Review engineering designs, plans, prepare project specifications, scopes of work, services review, and project opinion of probable costs
- Prepare concept, feasibility and detailed design documentation and obtain relevant reviews and approvals
- Meet with the project team on a regular basis to provide advice and mentoring on operational, project and management responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections with clients, contractors, council and regulatory authorities where required
