With a rapidly growing pipeline of work, our client is looking for an experienced Principle Civil Leader to join their successful South Australian team. This highly reputable employee-owned engineering consultancy have a national presence providing leading-edge solutions to the transport, environment, development, public works, water, and mining & resources sectors. With up to 100 people locally, this consultancy is dedicated to upskilling their employees, by offering career development programs and highly encourage a work life balance culture.
The Role
As the Principle Civil Leader, you will act as a technical leader to the engineering team and provide mentoring and support to up-and-coming juniors in the team. Aside from day to day engineering you will have the opportunity to continue your own ongoing learning and professional development; further build reputation; and enhance your technical skills in civil engineering and design management. As a core member of the leadership team, we are looking for someone to undertake all necessary procurement and delivery of activities. With an agile, outcomes-oriented project delivery focus, you will play an important part in liaising with clients and stakeholders to build strong relationships.
The Like Mind
To succeed in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and relevant previous experience working on projects as well as 10 – 15+ years of experience. Showcasing your strong internal and external stakeholder management, you will have a can-do attitude but most importantly be a strong team player who works well in an agile and collaborative environment. This role is for an already experienced principal leader or a senior engineer ready to take the next step up in their career. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced Principal Civil Leader who is eager to build their career within the company, contributing to the delivery of high-quality projects.
