Job description

This award winning South Australian architecture studio is looking for an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join their team as a result of continuous business growth! Our client has a strong focus on the professional development of their staff, encouraging creativity, and providing an inclusive work environment where people can thrive and share ideas to inspire each other. Located in Adelaide’s CBD in a stylish, open plan office, this studio is providing a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to collaborate with the entire team across a diverse range of administrative projects. Jumping into a newly created role, your responsibilities will grow and evolve over time, offering a chance to take ownership and make the role your own!

The Role
With a key focus on providing a range of administrative, operational, and financial support across the entire business, your daily tasks will vary with no two days the same. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations are well-managed, using your initiative to identify processes and systems to be streamlined. Your excellent communication and collaboration skills will see you effectively supporting the architectural staff on projects, assisting with formatting letters and fee proposals, report generation and coordinating meetings. You will oversee the accounts payable & receivable functions, as well as preparing financial reports and client invoices. With a flexible approach to working arrangements, our client is willing to tailor this role to suit full-time or school hours.

The Like Mind
With 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, your ability to develop strong working relationships with a variety of personalities will see you hit the ground running in this role. You will demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Xero, and/or experience working within the architecture or design industry an added bonus. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history managing a range of administrative and operational responsibilities, as well as basic accounting practices including invoicing and accounts processing. Your open and honest communication style will see you collaborate effectively with the senior leadership team and flourish in this dynamic workplace. Overall, if you have a ‘can-do’ attitude and are willing to go above and beyond to support your team, we would love to hear from you!
