The Opportunity
  
ROUSSOS Recruitment are proud to be partnering with Fieldwork, an architecture and consulting practice renowned for its projects that foster community, are sensitive to the surrounding neighbourhood and strive to lower the carbon footprint of construction.
  
Fieldwork is now expanding into the South Australian market and they are looking for a Project Architect to join in a senior capacity to help lead projects and contribute to the expansion of the practice.
  
Founded in 2013 and comprising over 35 talented individuals, Fieldwork has built a strong reputation for its award-winning work across multi-residential, commercial, educational, civic and urban regeneration projects.
  
Unlike most architects, Fieldwork applies real-world insights from designing and delivering projects to inform built environment consultancy work. Drawing upon this expertise, Fieldwork has prepared built form guidelines, strategic policy frameworks, portfolio reviews and design manuals for both private, council and government clients.
  
The Role

As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for the full 360 delivery of architectural projects, including, but not limited to:
  • Working closely with the leadership team and Directors, lead the design, documentation, and delivery of medium to large-scale projects across multiple sectors, focused primarily on South Australia
  • Coordinate consultants, manage project programs, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Contribute to design reviews and ensure outcomes align with Fieldwork’s values and design approach
  • Guide and mentor project teams, supporting capability development across the studio
  • Maintain strong client relationships and represent Fieldwork in all project phases
  • Uphold best practice in project risk, quality, and contract administration
The Like Mind
  • At least 8 years of post-graduate experience, ideally with exposure to multi-residential, mixed-use, and mid to high-rise developments
  • Solid experience across all phases of architectural delivery – concept design to construction
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD and Sketchup is desirable, excellent documentation and technical detailing skills is essential
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Registered Architect (or eligibility for registration in SA)
  • Passionate about sustainable, people-focused design and a desire to contribute to a meaningful studio culture
